Returns & Refunds

As a small independent bag maker, I take great pride in handcrafting bags and can often involved individual requirements which have been tailored to your needs. I encourage you to ensure you are fully confident in your purchase before proceeding. Each piece is made to order and involves hours of dedicated work. At Tinbox Angel, I value discerning customers who appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into the products. Your order is truly special to my small business.
If however you need to return a product for any reason, please refer to the returns policy below. Kindly note that due to the nature of our unique service, this policy may differ from standard retail return policies.
1.**Custom Orders**: Custom means any standard items that have been altered in any way to suit your tailored requirements. Change in size, leather, lining or hardware that differs to the standard website design. Personalisation directly onto the bag means the item cannot be resold, so is not eligible for a return. Due to the personalised nature of our products, all ‘custom-made’ bags are final sale. Please double-check your order details, including dimensions and colours, before confirming your purchase, and the maker commences their work.
2. **Defective or Damaged Items**: If your order arrives damaged or defective, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving it. We will help arrange a replacement or refund. Since your item is handmade, please note that natural variations may occur; these are not defects but rather characteristics to be appreciated in handmade products.
3. **Returns**: Standard items (not custom, see above) may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unused and in their original condition. Please include all packaging and any extra components such as removable personalised name/logo tags.
4. **Return Process**:
- Email us at shop@tinboxangel.com to start your return.
- Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- Please return your item to: Tinbox Angel, Unit 23, Clawthorpe Hall Business Centre, Burton in Kendal, Cumbria, LA6 1NU.
- The buyers retains responsibility for the item until it is received by Tinbox Angel. We recommend tracking your parcel through Royal Mail.
5. **Refunds**: Once I have receive the returned item, I will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days.
6. **Shipping Costs**: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective/damaged item).
7. **Exceptions**: Items marked as final sale, factory seconds, One-off designs, or custom orders will not be eligible for return or exchange unless fault and the fault is different what may have been mentioned on the description when purchased.
