Each bag from The Slouch - Heritage Collection - Limited Edition is a numbered piece of Tinbox History, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The number inside the bag corresponds to the number on the panel, signifying the individual bag and the specific part of the hide used. The number system is not reflective of the order in which the bags are made.
You may have noticed cow print in our collection in the past. We are familiar with this striking design and its ability to produce exceptional products. In this instance, we are proud to feature natural cow hide with its AUTHENTIC markings - a true original. Why alter something so inherently beautiful? An exciting choice:
Due to the exciting nature of this cowhide, for this first small batch of bags I am pleased to offer you the opportunity to select the actual leather which will adorn the front panel of your bag. When ordering, please select the panel from the drop down list. Each one is different. It is important you use the website to order to prevent anyone else selected the the pattern you desire. There are no two the same. Each piece is from a different part of the hide, you can select from a dominant print, a more muted brindle section or one colour, which has been taken from the centre, so although more uniformed in colour, it has the beautiful centre parting which makes this piece quite individual with its own beauty.
More choice for you: In addition to the front panel, you can choose an accent leather to adorn the back of the design and the strap. Keep in mind that if you select a colour other than black for your accent, it will also be featured in the strap ALONGSIDE the black. The black leather was specifically chosen for its superior strength and will be used to enhance the other colour if you choose one. Accent colours are, Black (shown), Cream, Tan and Dark Brown. All four of the colours feature in the hide. Please contact me direct if you would like a contrast strap form the other colours, I am happy to organise this. Please add to the notes section on your order which colour you would like to complement your chosen panel.
Enhance the uniqueness of your bag with a laser engraved initial/s on the reverse of the de-bossed logo tag. Take advantage of our complimentary service and add up to three initials to your order. This personalised detail will complement the small leather tassel on the zipper pull and is a highly sought-after accessory. Please add the initials to the notes section on your order.
Sizing: The standard size is a generous 46 cm X 30 cm (measured from the centre of the slop). The smaller size is: 36 cm x 20 cm ( please see separate listing)
The slouch comes in two different sizes, with the mini version listed separately. This listing specifically features the standard size, perfect for those in need of a larger bag, perfect for everyday use.
Explore the design process and carefully selected shape of The Slouch - Heritage Collection - Limited Edition. Through consultation with my fashionista audience, it was presented several times that a curved silhouette, which will complement the human form, and which best complemented the rather large abstract print of the natural cowhide material. This shape is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical, resting naturally against the body when worn across or over the shoulder.
When it comes to choosing a strap, leather or webbing are both viable options. However, a thick leather strap provides the perfect combination of comfort and luxury. Made of smooth cowhide with a thickness of 1.4 mm, this hand-selected luxury leather adds a touch of durability and comfort to the design without feeling heavy. Whether worn across the body, it is sure to enhance the overall experience. The strap is fixed, but can be adjusting with the brass coloured slider, so wear it long for hands free convenience or slide it to its lowest point for shoulder wearing. Best of both worlds.
The hardware has been kept to a minimum to maintain the simple design, while also incorporating two O-ring connectors to add an understated yet functional element to the strap.

As a product designer with a focus on both form and function, my designs are known for their luxurious interiors, such an important part of the bag for me. The Slouch - Heritage Collection - Limited Edition maintains this standard, boasting a sizeable inner pocket trimmed with leather, a dedicated phone pocket for various size phones, and a convenient slip pocket for easy access to your easy to reach belongings. Additionally, there's a separate card pocket for those who prefer a digital lifestyle. And let's not forget the key lanyard - simply pull up the leather strap and say goodbye to rummaging through your bag for keys.
